this suggests that the goblins who live in the upper portions of Gollum’s cave complex were mining coal or otherwise producing industrial mercury-laden waste in sufficient quantities to enter the tissues of the fish in the lower portions of the cave. Unless the goblins he occasionally captured and ate had a diet heavy in fruits and veg he was missing most vitamins and minerals!
Goblins seem to be primarily carnivorous, whereas Gollum’s species, as a close relative of hobbits, are probably omnivores; vitamin D may not be an issue due to the (mercury-laden) fish, but even if the goblins do occasionally eat plant matter, it isn’t as if goblin is a regular staple of Gollum’s diet.

there needs to be more gay movies where the coming out process has already happened long long ago and more gay movies that actually take place within the LGBT community rather than like, a lesbian among christian bigots
